Register Valuators may act as:

As consultants we advise entrepreneurs in matters that pertain to the value of their business. For example in case of a business transfer or concerning value management questions. When it concerns a business transfer, we are keen on working together with any associated consultant and – in case of a value management issue – with the executive board and management .

When we act as a party expert, most of the time it is either a matter of a – potential – dispute concerning the valuation of a company or a matter of economic damage. For instance in case of a divorce, disputes between partners or a difference of opinion with the tax authorities about the value of a company. In these situations we work in close cooperation with the associated fiscal lawyer(s) to find an optimal balance between legal and economical interests.

A legal expert is appointed by the Court of Law or the Court of Justice. This occurs in a phase of a process where parties are unable to reach an agreement about the value of a business or the amount of economical damage. The expert will act independently and offer all parties concerned an opportunity to present their information. For the determination of the value or damage, usually the judge will follow the report drawn up by the legal expert

In case of mediation procedures or any other instance where parties prefer to settle a dispute, we can offer an independent and – if requested – binding advice concerning the value of a business or the amount of economical damage. In these kind of situations we will summon a well thought out and substantiated judgement while leaving ample room for arguments from all sides.

  • CASE: TAKEOVER BISCUIT PRODUCTION COMPANY

    In 2019 ‘De Aviateur Banketbakkerijen’ based in Broek op Langedijk, The Netherlands acquired the shares of Frijling Groep from Dalfsen. ValuePro advised the buying party with regards to the value of the shares and provided guidance in the M&A process. Legal guidance was done by De Hooge Waerder. The due dilligence was conducted jointly by ValuePro and De Hooge Waerder.

Getting to know us

A possible assignment is preceded by an initial interview without any further obligations and is free of charge. The goal of this meeting is to obtain a clear image of subject on hand and the associated objectives. It is equally important that you get to know us, see who we are and what we can offer.

After that meeting we will draw up a proposal which will outline the work needed to comply with your assignment. The proposal will detail the roadmap and where possible give a calculated indication for the amount of time that is required for each phase.
