Valuation expert proficient in valuing shares, valuing companies, determining goodwill, establishing normal income for entrepreneurs or directors (DGA), and skilled in economic damage calculations. Valuation assignments in the context of (legal) disputes or situations where value needs to be determined and there is no free market competition.
Chris can best be characterized as an enterprising strategist who translates his solid theoretical background into practical solutions for his clients. This makes him a highly valued partner for many entrepreneurs.
He studied commercial economics at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, followed the training program for Registered Business Succession Advisor at Avans University of Applied Sciences, studied Business Valuation at RSM/Erasmus University, completed the Forensic Economics program at Leyden School of Law and Economics, and attained a Master’s degree in Business Valuation from TIASNIMBAS Business School/ Tilburg University.
After holding various sales and marketing positions, he has been involved in business acquisitions, business valuation, and business financing from various perspectives since 1996. He previously served as a partner and member of the executive board at a medium-sized accounting firm, as well as a business banker, business advisor, product manager, and regional manager.
His blend of commercial and business-economic knowledge allows him to identify (hidden) value and opportunities within businesses and offer advice when necessary to preserve and transfer value.
Additionally, Chris is the core instructor for the Business Valuation and Transaction Guidance for Business Succession program at MFAS, serves as a teacher at The Legal Academy, and regularly conducts “in-house” courses and lectures in the field of business valuation. He also serves as a board member of the Dutch Institute for Registered Valuators.
